Why it is, do you think, that those who are not as intelligent succeed more than those extremely intelligent?

With most gifted {extremely intelligent} people.. They just get flat out bored. They aren't lazy, but it's very common that someone with so much memory, and smarts gets bored at a average persons rate. Thus apply themselves less and less. Course this is with education. An with the United States education system... It is mainly about tests as probably most of us know. For the average IQ, the pace of a normal public school system is designed to make them excel. Which gives the one size fits all. I know this, cause I've experienced this problem myself, and their are already lots and lots studies about this. Hopefully this is some advice to your question.
