Seems like you got out for a reason. This guy sounds awful! If you are having problems w/custody, ask anyone you might know in the legal profession for advice. Start recording these conversations, get others in on it, so that if it comes to a reopening of your case you will have hard evidence. If he starts to get verbally "violent" again, tell him that you'll talk to him the next day, when he's more calm. The whole "say you love me" bit sounds like he's pretty sadistic, especially in light of all the pain he has put you through (no matter what you have done). Stay strong. You have custody of your son, and it is in his best interest to keep him safe.
