Well it depends. If he got it because he's going to call her and talk a lot, then that's not really okay. If he got it for a specific reason and that's it, then it's okay. If you guys are all friends and exchanging everyone's phone numbers, then that's okay. If he's going to talk to her and possibly like her and maybe cheat on you, obviously that's not okay.
