Blood Clot in Uterus While Pregnant?

I went in last Friday for my 12 week ultrasound, and they found a blood clot in my uterus. My cervix is closed tight and the lining is thick. The baby's HB was 160 and showed excellent cardiac activity and movements. My question is, has anyone ever experienced this and if so, what was the outcome of your pregnancy?
