Akita Dog can they be left outside in the snow at -2 degrees?

Call the SPCA or a humane society in your area. I don't care if your friend THINKS the dog can withstand it, it sounds like it's a back yard dog that probably never gets any attention and is always left by itself which in itself is cruelty. I don't understand why people get dogs if they're just going to leave them outside by themselves all the time. That is so mean.
